At 5:00 PM the rolling cruise from
downtown Flint to the southern Genesee County
line on Saginaw St. Approximately 40 host
sites will offer a variety of special offers.
Join in at any point along the route.
If you are looking for an activity before the
Rolling Cruise begins, Applewood, the Charles
Stewart and Ruth Rawlings Mott Estate is open
for guided walking tours beginning at 11:00 AM
and 2:00 PM. No reservations are needed.
Find time for yourself in the serenity of
Applewood's mystique. This 34 acre
family home surrounded by stately trees, lush
lawns, and flower-filled gardens is a place
not to be missed.
Friday, August 15
Beginning at 6-10 AM a FREE pancake, coffee
sausage breakfast will be available to the
first 500 people who arrive in classic cars to
the UofM-Flint lot at Saginaw and Fifth
Avenue. Join Johnny Burke from WHNN 96.1
and the sponsors of Back to the Bricks who are
hosting this great start to the day.
After breakfast, you will want to cruise over
to Duke's Car Stereo (Dort Hwy location only)
for FREE hot dogs and chips from 11AM to 3PM. At 6:00 PM the
cruise to downtown starts and continues until
10. Parking on Saginaw St will be on a first
come basis. No reserved parking for
tonight. From 5:30 to 7:00 the Blues Band Cidy
Zoo will perform followed by Elvis
Impersonator, Dave Cunningham from 7-10.
DJ Bob Steel will be the Master of Ceremonies.
Restaurants and vendors will be open for the
event.
Saturday, August 16
Starting at 10:00 the 4th Annual Back to the
Bricks Car Show and Cruise kicks off.
FREE admittance to drivers and spectators.
First 1000 drivers receive a driver's bag with
tickets to receive a free t-shirt and a chance
to win a driver's prize.
Reserved side street parking for registered
car clubs. Start the day with a great
hillbilly
breakfast at the Masonic Temple Dining Room,
located at the corner of 4th and Saginaw from
(NEW TIME) 7-10 AM Adults $7.00 /Children $4.00. You
can join them later in the day for a great
all you can eat chicken dinner
from4-7PM.Adults $8.00/Children $5.00. Be sure to enjoy the varieties
of food offered by the following restaurants:
Halo Burger, Torch Bar, Churchills, Brown
Sugar Cafe, Mike's Triple Grille, Mega Coney

Noon, Friday, August15 and Saturday, August 16
the movie CARS will be shown at the
Flint Institute of Arts Theater -admission is
free.
Sloan Museum is showing Gems from the
Bulgari Automotive Collection Wed-Fri
from 10-5 and Sat & Sun noon to 5. Mr.
Bulgari's greatest interest is in automobiles
built in the 1930s and 1940s. Admission:
Adult $6.00, Senior $5.00, Child (3-11)
Special August Discount $3.00 Child
(2 & under) Free. Admission is for Sloan
Museum and Buick Gallery & Research Center.

New this year in the Pavilion will be the
Women's Marketplace. Open from 10-5
you can enjoy a shoulder and neck massage,
haircut or style, hot wax hand treatment, make
a scrapbook item, check out a new
Vegetarian/Vegan business starting here in
Flint. Shopping will be great fun with
designer inspired purses, jewelry, soaps,
candles and much more. At 1:00 enjoy a vintage
fashion show from the Flint Community Players.
The vintage clothing includes women's
clothing from approximately 1860-1960.
You can see Civil War hoop-skirted dresses,
1920's flapper dresses, and wedding
gowns right up to an early Cher outfit!
JUST ADDED TO THE MARKETPLACE IS MIKE GAYLORD
BROADCASTING HIS "EVERYTHING CLASSIC" RADIO
SHOW ON 1470 AM FROM 9-11AM. After the
broadcast Mike will be doing free appraisals
on antiques and collectibles. So bring your
treasures with you! To the Kearsley/Saginaw
Street entrance at the Pavilion.
The Flint Fire Dept will host displays all day
of the Hazmet truck, smokehouse, antique fire
truck and at 2:30 a jaws of life
demonstration. FREE smoke alarms
available to City of Flint residents.
Entertainment on Saturday includes DJ Bob
Steel all day playing great music and our
master of ceremonies. The Swingin Demons
perform on stage from 1-2:30 and later in the
day The Rev. Rightime performs from 5:30 to
7:30PM. To the north in McFarlan Park, Frank
Helms performs karaoke from 11-1, The Fairlanes from 1:30-3:30 and Kenny C (Ken
Carlson) will round out the performances with
karaoke from 3:30-5:30. JD Winegarden
will perform karoke on Second and Saginaw to
the south. Displays and demonstrations on the
lot at Kearsley and Saginaw are: Mothers Car
Care products, AA Machine Shop, All American
Muscle Cars, Pro-Style Auto and Truck
Accessories, MAACO, ELGA Credit Union.
There will also be a great display of race
cars. The Model Car Builders Club will
have displays and contests ongoing at the
north end of the Pavilion, along with a great
display of antique bicycles.
A bus will be going to the City Farm Market,
Sloan Museum, and the Buick Gallery.
Times and the bus location will be announced
throughout the day.
Parking is available for spectators in the two
large ramps on Harrison Street. There is
no charge for parking.
The Berridge Restoration Project will offer
free tours on Saturday, August 16th from 10-4.

Second. These are state of the art
